City of Sydney is seeking a Project Manager - Tree Planting to lead street, park and property planting programs within the Urban Forest Management team. The role provides training and supports ambitious canopy and policy goals.

The ideal candidate has AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture (or equivalent) and strong contract management, data analysis, and teamwork skills, with a valid NSW Class C licence. A 19-day month option is available.

Qualifications

• AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture or equivalent level 4 qualification.
• Understanding of young tree assessment and planting operations.
• Experience balancing priorities and meeting deadlines in a team setting.
• Current Class C NSW driver’s licence.

Responsabilités

• Manage street, park and property tree planting programs to industry best practice.
• Collect and analyse data related to planting and urban forest operations.
• Provide expert technical advice to stakeholders on tree management.
• Contribute to tree management and urban forest policies.
