Job summary

Sigma Healthcare is seeking a Treasury Analyst to join the Head of Treasury and enhance forecasting, cash flow modelling and working capital analysis across the group.

You will develop medium- and long-term cash flow models, analyse liquidity, funding, risks, and provide insights to support decisions. Experience in ASX-listed or complex environments is valued.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Finance; a postgraduate qualification in Finance, Treasury or Risk will be highly regarded.
• At least three years' experience in Treasury, corporate finance, FP&A or a related analytical Finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate data into insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and enhance medium- and long-term cash flow and financial models to support Treasury planning, funding and decision-making.
• Support Treasury inputs into budgets and forecasts, including cash flow, funding, interest and working capital assumptions.
• Analyse Group cash flow and working capital performance, identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities for senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to understand drivers, validate assumptions and develop Treasury insights.
• Prepare scenario and stress analysis and support financial risk analysis (interest rate and FX exposures).
• Develop tools and reporting to improve visibility of cash conversion, working capital and Treasury metrics.
• Contribute to improvements in Treasury models, analytics and reporting through automation and simplification.

Job description

At Sigma Healthcare, our Treasury team manages cash flow, liquidity, funding, debt and financial risk across the Group, including cash flow and liquidity management for our extensive franchise store network. The team works closely with Finance and operational stakeholders to provide robust forecasting, analysis and insights that support informed Treasury and business decision-making.

About the Role

Working closely with the Head of Treasury, the Treasury Analyst will develop and enhance Sigma's Treasury forecasting and analytical capability. With a focus on medium- and long-term cash flow modelling, working capital analysis, financial modelling and reporting, you will provide meaningful insights that support liquidity, funding and broader Treasury decisions. This role also contributes analysis across the extensive franchise store network, overseas operations, financial risk and continuous improvement of Treasury models and processes.

Role Responsibilities

• Partner with Finance and operational stakeholders to understand business drivers, validate assumptions and develop actionable Treasury insights.
• Prepare scenario and stress analysis and support financial risk analysis, including interest rate and foreign exchange exposures
• Develop analytical tools and reporting to improve visibility of cash conversion, working capital, funding and other key Treasury metrics.
• Contribute to improvements in Treasury models, analytics and reporting through automation and simplification while supporting day-to-day Treasury activities as required.

Who are we looking for?

• A tertiary qualification in Finance; a postgraduate qualification in Finance, Treasury or Risk will be highly regarded.
• At least three years' experience in Treasury, corporate finance, financial planning and analysis or a related analytical Finance role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify key drivers and trends and translate financial data into meaningful insights.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel capability, including financial modelling, cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis.
• A proactive, improvement-focused mindset and demonstrated initiative in simplifying, automating and improving processes, models and reporting.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-engagement skills, with the ability to work effectively across Finance and operational teams.
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail, ownership and the ability to manage deliverables and deadlines with appropriate guidance.
• Experience in working capital and cash flow analysis, an ASX-listed or similarly complex environment, and knowledge of accounting principles and financial controls will be highly regarded.
