Job summary

Chemist Warehouse Group is seeking a Planogram Specialist to optimise store layouts and drive sales through effective planogram management. You will update planograms, analyse sales data, and implement changes across stores to enhance the customer shopping experience.

The role requires collaborating with internal teams, delivering insights, and ensuring compliance with company standards. A flexible hybrid arrangement is offered, including some remote work and on-site presence at the Preston area.

About the team

The Store Operations & Support (SOS) Department ensures the efficient day-to-day operation of all stores. It supportsstore teams by coordinating operational procedures, resolving issues, monitoring performance, managing resources,and maintaining company standards. The department acts as a key link between stores and head office, helping deliverconsistent service, compliance, productivity, and excellent customer experience.

About the role

Reporting to the Catalogue, Merchandising & Space Planning Manager, you will play a key role in optimising store layouts and driving sales performance through effective planogram management and space planning. You will be responsible for updating and maintaining planograms, analysing data to identify opportunities for improvement, and ensuring merchandising strategies support sales growth and an enhanced customer shopping experience.

Role responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and deliver planograms to support sales growth, maximise space utilisation, and enhance the customer shopping experience.
  • Analyse sales and stock data to identify opportunities and improve store layouts and merchandising performance.
  • Test, update, and implement planograms, including new products, ranges, and store layout changes.
  • Communicate planogram updates and provide support and guidance to stores to ensure compliance and successful execution.
  • Prepare and deliver reports and insights to support merchandising and space planning initiatives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders while providing support across the wider team when required.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with company policies, procedures, and workplace health and safety standards.
  • Assist with additional projects and business initiatives as required.
