Job summary

BCD Travel Australia is seeking a Corporate Travel Consultant based in Sydney for a full-time hybrid role. You will manage corporate travel reservations, advise clients on travel policies, and ensure compliance with regulations while delivering exceptional service.

You'll work with Sabre and other tools, support revised policies, and seek opportunities to optimize client operations. The role requires 3+ years in corporate travel, strong communication in English, and full working rights in AU.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years managing corporate travel in a Travel Management Company.
• Mid to advanced Sabre GDS skills; training provided.
• Willingness to flex roster start/finish times.
• Strong verbal and written English communication.
• Solid knowledge of travel industry policies, procedures and processes.
• Must have full working rights in AU.

Responsibilities

• Search and confirm travel reservations for corporate clients via phone, email and live chat.
• Provide consultation on client travel policy and travel arrangements.
• Fulfill requests regarding regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.).
• Provide industry information such as low fares, exchange costs and penalties.
• Review client operations and relationships to suggest improvements.

As a Corporate Travel Consultant, you will

• Search and confirm travel reservations for our corporate clients, using various forms of communication modes, including phones, email and live chat
• Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement

About You

• Proven experience as a travel agent, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working for a travel management company on managing corporate travel arrangements
• Mid to advanced level skills in GDS Sabre – we provide dedicated training in Sabre too!
• Willingness to flex from time to time on roster start and finish times
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Solid working knowledge of the travel industry, policies, procedures, and processes
• Must have full working rights in AU
