BCD Travel Australia is hiring a Corporate Travel Consultant to service our business clients from Sydney with a hybrid work arrangement. You will handle travel requests via phone, email and chat, ensure policy adherence, and process visa, passport and regulatory requirements.

The role requires 3+ years in corporate travel and solid Sabre GDS skills; strong English communication and client service focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a travel agent, with a minimum of three (3) years’ experience working for a travel management company on managing corporate travel arrangements.
• Mid to advanced level skills in GDS Sabre – we provide dedicated training in Sabre too!

Responsabilités

• Search and confirm travel reservations for our corporate clients, using various forms of communication modes, including phones, email and live chat
• Strong understanding of a client travel policy and can consistently provide consultation to the customer
• Fulfill all requests regarding necessary regulations (DOT, TSA, passports, visas, etc.)
• Provide the client with the required industry information, such as low fares, exchange costs, and penalties
• Seek opportunities to review operational processes and commercial relationships with client to provide suggestions for improvement
