Job summary

Impact Care Solutions is seeking compassionate Therapeutic Care / Youth Workers to provide trauma-informed support to young people in OOHC. You will build trusting relationships, implement positive behaviour strategies, and assist with daily routines and life skills across flexible shifts including sleepovers and weekends.

The role emphasizes trauma-informed practice, de-escalation, and culturally competent support for diverse youth, with SCHADS Level 3 pay rates and salary packaging available

Qualifications

• Trauma-informed care and de-escalation experience.
• Ability to apply positive behaviour support strategies.
• Experience with diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds (CALD).

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed care aligned with each young person’s plan.
• Build positive, trusting relationships.
• Apply de-escalation techniques during crisis states involving aggression or sexualised conduct.
• Support daily routines, community activities, and life skills.
• Work across varied shifts, including sleepovers and weekends.

Education

Certificate IV in Community Services, Youth Work or similar
