Job summary

Gold Coast Disability and Youth in Bilambil NSW is seeking a Complex Disability Support Worker to provide specialised care for youth NDIS participants with complex needs. You will work with Case Managers to implement PBSPs, support emotional regulation and facilitate community engagement in northern NSW locations.

The role requires trauma-informed co-regulation, de-escalation, and safe decision-making in high-stress settings, along with accurate shift notes and incident reporting for the care

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in relevant support fields is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check and Blue Card or Queensland equivalent are required.
• Open Queensland Driver’s Licence with reliable vehicle for community access.
• Current First Aid (HLTAID011) is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Reinforce PBSPs with trauma-informed care and de-escalation.
• Support youth in accessing community, recreational and skill-building activities.
• Assist with daily living and emotional co-regulation tasks.
• Maintain detailed shift notes, behaviour logs and incident reports.
