Job summary

DCC Industry Group in Queensland is seeking a dedicated Youth Worker to support children and young people living in DCC care, providing youth work and disability support to help build independence and life skills. You will work across a 24/7 rotating roster including sleepovers, with ongoing training and access to Allied Health team support.

The role requires trauma-informed, person-centred care, strong personal values, and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or higher in Youth Work or relevant qualification.
• Experience with children and young people with complex needs is beneficial.
• Willingness to obtain required background checks and licences.

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, person-centred care and support to children and young people.

Education

Certificate IV in Youth Work

Higher qualification in Youth Work or Child, Youth and Family Intervention

Working with Children Check (Blue Card) / LCS Check (or willingness to obtain)
