Job summary

Accord Care is looking for experienced Disability Support Workers in Brisbane to provide person-centred support for individuals with complex mental health needs, including PTSD.

Responsibilities include personal care, implementing support plans, and encouraging independence. The role requires resilience and excellent communication skills, with opportunities for ongoing training and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individuals with PTSD, complex mental health needs, and behaviours of concern.
• Understanding of trauma-informed care and person-centred support practices.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance, including hygiene and daily living support.
• Support household tasks, including meal preparation.
• Implement individual support plans and behaviour support strategies.
