Job summary

Clarity Healthcare is seeking a Psychologist to join a multidisciplinary mental health team in Queensland. You will provide personalised counselling, intake assessments, and tailored treatment plans in collaboration with participants and families.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration is required.
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive mental health assessments.
• Experience with trauma-informed counselling and multiple clinical modalities.
• Ability to provide mental health triage and de-escalation.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including computer literacy.
• Ability to build rapport and influence diverse stakeholders.
• Passion for making a difference in a fast-paced environment.
• Working With Children Check (WWCC) and police check required or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Engage with participants providing personalised counselling, therapy and brief interventions.
• Conduct intake assessments and develop tailored counselling plans with participants and families.
• Advocate for participants and coordinate with clinicians, peers, and stakeholders to enhance interventions.
• Monitor and manage participants' mental health, collaborating with health professionals as needed.
• Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team with peers and other mental health clinicians.
