Job summary

Clarity Health Care in Queensland is seeking a Psychologist to deliver personalised counselling, assessments and tailored plans within a multidisciplinary team. You will collaborate with peers and families to support wellbeing and implement evidence‑based interventions.

Applicants should hold current AHPRA registration and demonstrate trauma‑informed practice, strong communication and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders in a fast‑paced setting. WWCC and police checks may be required.

Qualifications

  • Current AHPRA registration and eligibility to practise as a psychologist.
  • Experience in comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence‑based interventions.
  • Proven skills in trauma‑informed counselling and multiple clinical modalities.
  • Ability to triage mental health needs and manage participant de‑escalation.
  • Strong communication, relationship building and computer literacy.
  • Capacity to engage diverse stakeholders and teams.
  • Passion for impact in a fast‑paced, solution‑focused setting.
  • Sound time management and ability to meet program KPIs.

Responsibilities

About You
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Demonstrated experience in comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in trauma informed counselling and therapy including the use of multiple clinical counselling modalities
  • Ability to demonstrate and provide mental health triage and participant de-escalation
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including computer literacy
  • Ability to build rapport and influence diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for making a difference and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet program delivery KPIs.
  • Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a current police check.
