Job summary

Wellways and Clarity Health Care are seeking a Psychologist to engage participants with counselling, assessments, and tailored therapy plans within a multidisciplinary team in Queensland. You will collaborate with families and health professionals to improve wellbeing.

You must hold AHPRA registration, have experience in mental health assessments and trauma-informed approaches, with skills in triage and de-escalation. WWCC and police check are required.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration
• Demonstrated experience in comprehensive mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions
• Trauma-informed counselling and therapy including the use of multiple clinical modalities
• Mental health triage and participant de-escalation
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills including computer literacy
• Ability to build rapport and influence diverse stakeholders
• Passion for making a difference in a fast-paced, solution-focused environment
• Effective time management and organisational skills to meet program KPIs
• WWCC and police check required or willing to obtain

About the role

About you

• Current AHPRA registration

• Effective time management and organisational skills, with the ability to meet program delivery KPIs.
• Must hold, or be willing to obtain, a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC) and a current police check.
