Job summary

Anglicare WA is seeking a Group Facilitator for the Reclaiming Our Lives Program in Mandurah. You will provide intake, assessment and therapeutic support to women affected by Family and Domestic Violence, delivering trauma-informed group sessions to promote safety, resilience and recovery.

The two part-time contracts (0.4 FTE and 0.2 FTE) run to 30 June 2027. Starting salary is 104,188.50 per year pro rata with 12% superannuation and salary packaging options, plus three pro-rata leave days per

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Social Science or related discipline.
• Demonstrated therapeutic group facilitation experience within Family and Domestic Violence, trauma or women’s services.
• Experience conducting intake, assessment and suitability screening for therapeutic programmes.
• Knowledge of FDV risk assessment, safety planning and risk management.
• Understanding of trauma, complex trauma and recovery approaches.
• Experience with culturally safe and responsive practice with Aboriginal people and diverse backgrounds.
• Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake, assessment and therapeutic support for the Reclaiming Our Lives program.
• Deliver group facilitation for women affected by FDV using trauma-informed approaches.
• Apply strengths-based, recovery-oriented practices to enhance safety and wellbeing.
