Job summary

Ruah in Western Australia is seeking a Support Coordinator to work directly with women and children accessing a family and domestic violence refuge. This is a designated female-only position under the Equal Opportunity Act 1984 (WA).

The role is a full-time 12‑month maximum term contract, 38 hours per week across 5 days, with rotating rosters including 8:00am‑4:00pm, 9:00am‑5:00pm and 10:00am‑6:00pm. You will develop recovery plans, coordinate support interventions and provide high‑quality case

Qualifications

  • Relevant qualifications in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Mental Health or a related discipline, and/or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in case management, care coordination or recovery-oriented support.
  • Strong goal planning and client engagement skills that support positive outcomes.
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate client support plans and recovery-focused interventions.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, their networks and external service providers.
  • Undertake case management activities, including assessments, referrals and appointments.
  • Support highly disengaged clients to reconnect with services and achieve positive outcomes.
  • Prepare high-quality case notes, reports and service documentation.
  • Facilitate group programs and contribute to recovery-oriented practice.
  • Work collaboratively with Peer Workers and other multidisciplinary team members.
  • Provide guidance and capacity building support to team members.
