Job summary

The Salvation Army in Morwell, VIC, is seeking a Specialist Family Violence Orange Door Practitioner to deliver integrated support to lives affected by family violence. This permanent full-time role is based on-site in Morwell and works within a multidisciplinary Orange Door team to assess, respond and coordinate safety planning.

Qualifications

• AQF Level 7+ qualification in family violence or related discipline.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Experience in family violence with emphasis on adults who use violence is desirable.
• Knowledge of trauma and abuse impacts and related policies.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, triage and crisis responses for adults.
• Deliver targeted interventions and coordinated referrals.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess risk and develop integrated support plans.
• Provide interim case management and support to clients while facilitating access to services.
• Contribute to training and reflective practice to support professional development.
