Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre in Geelong West is seeking a Family Violence Practitioner to join the Orange Door team. You will deliver high-quality, client-centered responses to Victorians seeking support and services, applying an integrated practice model within a multidisciplinary setting.

You will hold a relevant graduate or postgraduate qualification and at least two years of experience working with adults, children or families affected by family violence, and you will maintain

Qualifications

Relevant graduate or post graduate qualification in psychology, social work or related discipline.
Minimum two years relevant experience.
Understanding of family violence and trauma.

Responsibilities

Deliver high quality, safe service responses to Victorians via The Orange Door.
Work autonomously and within a multi-disciplinary team.
Maintain client-focused, confidential case notes.
Engage in trauma-informed, client-centered practice.
