Job summary

The Sexual Assault & Family Violence Centre invites applications for a Family Violence Practitioner to join the Orange Door team in Geelong. You will deliver high quality responses to Victorians seeking support, working within an integrated practice model and contributing to a multidisciplinary service.

You will hold a graduate or postgraduate qualification in psychology, social work or related discipline, with experience in family violence, risk assessments and confidentiality in case

Qualifications

• A relevant graduate or post graduate qualification in psychology, social work or other relevant discipline.
• Ability to complete family violence risk assessments and develop safety plans.
• Experience working with adults, children and young people who have experienced family violence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, safe and effective service responses to Victorians seeking support through The Orange Door.
• Work as an integrated member of the Orange Door team to deliver an integrated practice model.
• Maintain accurate and confidential case notes and liaise with colleagues across disciplines.
