Job summary

The Salvation Army Australia invites applications for a Specialist Family Violence Orange Door Practitioner in Morwell, VIC. This permanent full-time role sits within the Orange Door team, delivering integrated support to adults, survivors and families affected by family violence.

Qualifications

• Must hold or be working towards an AQF Level 7+ qualification in family violence or a related discipline.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• Current Employee Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Conduct risk assessments, triage and crisis responses for adults using family violence.
• Deliver targeted interventions and coordinated referrals that support behaviour change and accountability.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to assess risk and develop integrated support plans.
• Provide interim case management and support to clients while facilitating access to appropriate services.
• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning through training, reflective practice and professional development.
