Job summary

Djirra VIC seeks a Family Violence Case Manager to provide culturally safe, trauma-informed support to Aboriginal women and their children affected by family violence. You will conduct risk assessments, develop case plans, and coordinate services across housing, health, and legal supports, while maintaining strong records and reporting in line with MARAM and internal policies.

This role is full-time and based in Mildura, Victoria.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Community Development, or related discipline.
• Willing to obtain a Police Check at Djirra’s expense.
• Victorian Working with Children’s Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide culturally safe, trauma-informed casework to Aboriginal women and children affected by family violence.
• Undertake risk assessment, case planning, risk management, and safety planning per MARAM.
• Collaborate with ACCOs and other services to deliver holistic support.
• Facilitate referrals to services such as mental health, housing, and AOD support.
• Maintain accurate case notes, reports and documentation.
