Job summary

Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Co Op in Morwell (VIC) is seeking a Case Manager to deliver trauma-informed, holistic therapeutic case management for Aboriginal young people at bail and through court processes. The role will provide post-bail support, including referrals to social emotional wellbeing, health, education and employment pathways, with training provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to VACCA's vision and purpose
• Understanding of Aboriginal peoples, cultures and issues in Australia
• Comprehensive knowledge of Youth Justice and Child Protection systems
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people or vulnerable groups

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, holistic therapeutic case management for Aboriginal young people at bail and through court hearings
• Provide post-bail support, including referrals to social-emotional wellbeing, health, education and employment pathways
• Specialized training will be provided
