Job summary

Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency Co Op in Morwell invites applications for a Nugel Case Manager. You will work with Aboriginal children and families, applying cultural Therapeutic Ways and trauma-informed casework to support safe home environments.

You will collaborate with police, courts and service providers, produce assessments and care plans, and contribute to self-determination and healing within a fast-paced, supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised Social Work degree or diploma of Community Services.
• Valid Police Check and Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
• Victorian Driver Licence and COVID-19 vaccination (strongly recommended).

Responsibilities

• Provide trauma-informed, culturally safe casework with Aboriginal children and families.
• Lead assessments, planning and documentation including care plans and risk assessments.
• Collaborate with external stakeholders (police, courts, service providers) to achieve positive outcomes.
