Job summary

Coregas is seeking an Operations team member at our Yennora site to schedule local and interstate deliveries of Dangerous Goods, while ensuring high standards of safety and service.

You will be responsible for vehicle checks, barcode scanning, and coordinating with customers and colleagues to deliver quality products efficiently.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence or certification is preferred.
• HR truck licence is preferred.
• Experience in handling, storage, and transportation of goods.
• Commitment to safety, accountability, ethics, and respect in the workplace.
• Willingness to work in a team environment.
• Computer literacy and basic software skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule trucks for local and interstate deliveries of Dangerous Goods.
• Ensure compliance with company procedures, laws and industry standards.
• Complete pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports; identify maintenance needs.
• Liaise with internal and external customers.
• Plan loads and reconcile trucks.
• Conduct regular checks of cylinders barcodes.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys and other handling equipment.
• Perform general manual handling tasks.
• Work Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM; overtime up to 5–10 hours weekly.

The Role

This is an opportunity to join the Operations team at our Yennora site and help us deliver high-quality products and outstanding service to our customers. You will be in charge of scheduling trucks for local and interstate deliveries of Dangerous Goods.

Your Day

• Undertake best practice vehicle scheduling activities for our Sydney operations fleet.
• Enforce compliance with company procedures as well as laws, regulations and industry standards in the area.
• Complete pre-trip checks and vehicle condition reports and identify vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Liase with internal & external customers
• Complete pre-planning loads & truck reconciliations
• Conducts regular checks and maintenance of cylinder barcodes.
• Responsible for scanning cylinders, packs and pallets using handheld scanners.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, trolleys, and other materials handling equipment.
• General manual handling will be required.
• Working Monday to Friday, starting at 8AM until 4:30PM
• Permanent full time role, with a potential of 5-10 hours per week of overtime
• Rate per day: $42.3266 per hour + super + bonus

Who are you

• Current Forklift Licence is preferable.
