Job summary

Arup is seeking a Design Director/Project Director in Western Australia to lead major transport infrastructure delivery from concept through construction. You will manage multidisciplinary teams across projects and ensure technical quality, client satisfaction and commercial performance.

You will steer bidding, design coordination and programme management, while strengthening relationships with government and private clients.

Qualifications

Chartered membership of Engineers Australia or equivalent.
Significant consulting experience in design and delivery of major transport infrastructure projects.
Leadership of multidisciplinary project teams with Alliance and Design and Construct delivery.
Strong commercial capability across work winning, contract negotiation, scope, programme, budget, risk, profitability.
Experience with road/rail authorities such as Main Roads WA or PTA is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead bidding, design and delivery of large-scale transport infrastructure projects across disciplines.
Own project commercial outcomes including work winning, contract negotiation, scope, programme, budget, risk and profitability.
Build trusted relationships with clients and delivery partners.
Provide leadership, coaching and mentoring to develop project teams.
Contribute to current and future WA business performance.
