Ipswich City Council is seeking a Transport Planner to drive the implementation of the Ipswich Transport Strategy 2025. You will provide specialist input on diverse transport planning projects impacting how the city grows, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams in a supportive workplace.

The role offers opportunities to expand skills, work on citywide transport initiatives, and contribute to improving mobility and livability in Ipswich.

Competenze

• Bachelor degree in urban planning or engineering.
• Current Queensland C-class driver's licence.
• Belief in values of safety, wellbeing, communication, collaboration, integrity, efficiency and leadership.

Mansioni

• Lead and coordinate research, analysis and forecasting of citywide travel patterns and demands.
• Provide input for citywide, area and corridor transport plans and policies across roads, PT, walking/cycling, parking and freight.
• Identify and scope transport infrastructure projects for Council's delivery program.
• Advise on State Government projects and major development applications affecting the city.
• Collaborate with Council departments, government agencies, and community to shape mobility in Ipswich.
