This permanent full-time role offers a starting salary of $106,570 plus 12.5% superannuation, with opportunities to shape policy, projects and funding submissions while representing the council at

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in electrical or civil engineering, or substantial equivalent experience.
• Experience in intelligent transport systems control, management and operations.
• Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Actively monitor and improve the city's intelligent transport systems for safety and efficiency.
• Investigate and resolve enquiries related to traffic signals and ITS technologies.
• Contribute to transport policies, strategies, studies, projects, and funding submissions.
• Represent council at meetings and forums.
