Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Perth is seeking a Transport Planner to join our dynamic WA team.

The role focuses on delivering transport planning studies, traffic engineering analyses, and policy interpretation while collaborating across disciplines with engineers, designers and analysts. You will engage with clients and authorities, manage projects, and mentor junior staff as part of ongoing team growth and learning.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering, Transport Planning or similar.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in transport planning within consulting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver transport planning and traffic engineering studies, including impact assessments and modelling.
• Support and manage projects across land development, infrastructure and urban precincts.
• Synthesize qualitative and quantitative evidence to shape well-rounded recommendations.
• Undertake transport policy research and interpretation, including contributing to policies, guidelines and standards.
• Prepare high-quality technical reports, proposals and client deliverables.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to team growth.
