Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to coordinate day-to-day operations in South Windsor, NSW. You will drive efficiency across collection runs, mentor a cohesive team, and ensure adherence to safety and NHVR regulations while delivering reliable service.

You will lead driver scheduling, oversee maintenance tasks, manage labour efficiencies, and investigate service issues, contributing to a zero-harm safety culture and cost-effective operations.

Qualifications

• Experienced Supervisor with a transport & logistics background.
• Exposure to and knowledge of comprehensive safety management systems.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire teams.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of HSE and environmental legislation.
• Knowledge of the NHVR legislation.
• A passion for safety and sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiencies within the team, continual review and improvement of collection runs and service delivery.
• Develop and mentor a collaborative, efficient and engaged team.
• Coordinate the scheduling of the day-to-day operations of driver runs.
• Ensure all pre-start, post-run, and minor day-to-day maintenance tasks are carried out on all equipment.
• Lead a high level of customer service within the collection teams, investigate and resolve service issues.
• Consult with line management in the development and management of operational targets.
• Enforce and monitor all NHVR regulations.
• Coordinate incident investigations and ride alongs.
• Manage and prepare detailed reports on labour efficiencies and overall cost management.
• Lead performance management investigations and outcomes.
