Americold is a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure. We partner with farmers and food producers to ensure perishables reach suppliers without spoilage.

We’re seeking a Transport Administrator at our Ormeau site to support daily transport operations, manage data, and coordinate freight with internal and external teams. The role requires attention to detail, effectiveness in a busy setting, and excellent communication to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment on the Gold

Qualifications

• Experience in transport, logistics, or supply chain administration.
• Familiarity with TMS, WMS, or ERP platforms.
• High attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Problem-solving mindset with a customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support across daily transport operations.
• Prepare and manage transport documentation (manifests, delivery dockets, consignment notes).
• Accurately enter and maintain freight, transport, and customer data.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external transport providers for timely delivery.
• Monitor transport activities and escalate delays or discrepancies.
• Assist with customer and internal queries relating to transport movements.
• Support compliance with transport regulations and Chain of Responsibility.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and data accuracy.
• Promote a strong safety culture and adhere to company policies.
