Job summary

Americold, a global provider of temperature-controlled infrastructure, is seeking a Warehouse Team Member for our Ormeau site. You will support safe handling of products in a fast-paced, cold environment and contribute to efficient daily operations.

The role offers flexible rosters across AM and PM, with shifts Monday to Saturday. Join a growing global organisation that values safety, teamwork and ongoing development. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Flexible shifts, including early mornings, weekends and overtime when required.
• Good communication with team members.
• Basic computer skills for inventory systems.
• Willingness to learn and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
• Receive, inspect, and store products.
• Pick, pack, and dispatch orders accurately.
• Check goods for damage or discrepancies.
• Label, sort, wrap, and repack items.
• Stack and store inventory correctly.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and safe.
• Assist with inventory counts and stocktakes.
• Follow health and safety procedures, including cold storage.
• Collaborate with teammates and contribute to a positive culture.
• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

What You’ll Do

As a Warehouse Team Member based at our Ormeau site, you'll play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of products across our operations. Working in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment, you''ll support the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse while maintaining safety and quality standards

Multiple rosters and shifts available: Flexible working between Monday - Saturday across AM and PM starts.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight, stock, and materials safely and efficiently
• Accurately receive, inspect, and store food and non-food products
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and quality
• Check incoming and outgoing goods for damage, discrepancies, or contamination
• Label, sort, wrap, and repack products as required
• Safely stack and store inventory in designated warehouse locations
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times
• Support inventory counts and stocktake activities
• Follow all workplace health and safety procedures, including working in cold storage conditions
• Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive team culture
• Assist with general warehouse duties and other tasks as required

What Experience and Education You Need

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
