Noosa Council invites applications for a transport-focused role within the Major Projects and Transport team. You will investigate traffic and road safety issues, analyze transport data, and contribute to initiatives that improve safety and efficiency for Noosa Shire.

The role is full-time and permanent, based at the Tewantin Administration Office. Diploma in Civil Engineering is required, with local government experience preferred. SIDRA, QGIS and AutoCAD experience is desirable.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in traffic investigations and data analysis.
• Knowledge of road safety standards and legislation.

Responsabilités

• Undertake traffic investigations and technical assessments related to road safety and traffic operations.
• Collect, analyse and interpret traffic data to identify issues and support recommendations.
• Assess traffic management plans and signage for compliance and improvements; prepare reports.
