Job summary

InfraBuild Reinforcing in WA is seeking a Transport Coordinator to ensure safe, compliant and efficient daily transport and deliveries across our sites. Reporting to the Transport Manager, you will work with internal teams and subcontractor drivers to achieve reliable, on-time service.

The role emphasizes safety, clear communication and collaboration, with a focus on load restraint, documentation and continuous improvement in transport operations.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of logistics, transport and supply chain operations.
• Experience in load restraint and load building is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn, with training provided.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deliveries are dispatched in full, on time and per customer requirements.
• Coordinate daily transport schedules, dispatch plans, bookings and capacity.
• Optimise fleet utilisation and carrier performance for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Project Delivery, Customer Service, Sales and drivers.
• Manage transport documents, scan delivery papers and support a high‑performing transport function.
• Conduct load restraint checks and coordinate safe load building.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient execution of daily transport and delivery operations across the InfraBuild Reinforcing sites in WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external subcontractor drivers to ensure reliable, on‑time deliveries.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring customer deliveries are dispatched in full, on time and in accordance with customer requirements
• Coordinating daily transport schedules, dispatch plans, freight bookings and transport capacity requirements
• Optimising fleet utilisation, carrier performance, tonnes per load and overall operational efficiency
• Collaborating with Planning, Production, Project Delivery, Customer Service, Sales and external freight providers
• Managing accurate transport documentation, scanning of delivery documents, and supporting a high‑performing, customer‑focused transport function
• Conducting load restraint checks and coordinating the safe and efficient building of loads
