Job summary

InfraBuild Reinforcing is seeking a Transport Coordinator to ensure safe, compliant and efficient daily transport across WA sites. You will work with internal teams and external subcontractor drivers to deliver on-time customer deliveries, manage schedules and bookings, and optimise fleet performance while maintaining high safety and service standards.

The role emphasises load restraint, documentation control and teamwork within a safety-focused culture.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of logistics, transport and supply chain operations.
• Experience in load restraint and load building is desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to learn, with training provided.
• Strong communication skills when liaising with drivers, transport teams and customers.
• Professional, respectful and customer-focused approach.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customer deliveries are dispatched on time and according to requirements.
• Coordinate daily transport schedules, dispatch plans and bookings.
• Optimise fleet utilisation and carrier performance for efficiency.
• Collaborate with Planning, Production, Project Delivery, Customer Service and external freight providers.
• Maintain transport documentation and scanning of delivery documents.
• Conduct load restraint checks and coordinate safe loading of consignments.

Reporting to the Transport Manager, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the safe, compliant and efficient execution of daily transport and delivery operations across the InfraBuild Reinforcing sites in WA. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external subcontractor drivers to ensure reliable, on‑time deliveries.

What you will be doing:

• Ensuring customer deliveries are dispatched in full, on time and in accordance with customer requirements
• Coordinating daily transport schedules, dispatch plans, freight bookings and transport capacity requirements
• Optimising fleet utilisation, carrier performance, tonnes per load and overall operational efficiency
• Collaborating with Planning, Production, Project Delivery, Customer Service, Sales and external freight providers
• Managing accurate transport documentation, scanning of delivery documents, and supporting a high‑performing, customer‑focused transport function
• Conducting load restraint checks and coordinating the safe and efficient building of loads
