The successful candidate will coordinate inbound/outbound movements, manage dehires, maintain accurate systems, and communicate effectively with customers, drivers and internal teams.

Our client is seeking an experienced and motivated Transport & Logistics Coordinator to join their operations team in an ongoing casual position.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in transport, logistics, container operations, bookings or administration who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and coordinating with customers, drivers, transport companies and internal operational teams.
You will play an important role in coordinating daily container movements, managing customer bookings and ensuring information is accurately maintained across operational systems.
Coordinate daily inbound and outbound truck and container movements.
Manage container dehires and equipment returns.
Update container lists and prepare and distribute final dehire lists and relevant EDO documentation to the Rail Team.
Complete vessel and PRA checks and monitor container status.
Manage and process customer bookings accurately and efficiently.
Respond to customer enquiries via email and telephone.
Liaise with customers, transport companies, drivers and internal operational teams.
Monitor container movements and proactively follow up on delays, changes and operational issues.
Prepare and distribute daily and weekly customer reports as required.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date booking information, container movements and operational records.
Ensure customer and operational information is entered accurately into relevant systems.
Follow up outstanding PRAs and road dehire movements.
Communicate booking updates, delays and changes to customers and relevant teams.
Assist with resolving customer and operational issues relating to bookings and container movements.
Maintain accurate documentation and records for operational requirements.
Provide general administrative and operational support to the team as required.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
Previous experience in transport, logistics, freight, container operations or a similar coordination role.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
The ability to confidently communicate with customers, drivers, transport companies and internal teams.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
The ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
A proactive approach to identifying and following up operational issues.
The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team.
