Job summary

Linfox is seeking an Allocator in Eastern Creek, NSW, to coordinate transport allocations and scheduling for a major retail customer. The role is full-time, permanent, with Monday to Friday work and start times around 7:00–8:00 am, depending on operations.

You will work with drivers, customers and operations to keep daily transport moving safely and efficiently. Key areas include coordinating daily allocations, liaising with stakeholders, monitoring schedules, maintaining run sheets and

Qualifications

• Previous supply chain experience, with transport or logistics experience highly regarded.
• Ability to think on your feet, problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Good geographical knowledge of Sydney metro and regional areas.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily transport allocations, scheduling and dispatch activities.
• Liaise with drivers, customers and operational teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Monitor daily schedules and adjust allocations in response to changing operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate run sheets, scheduling information and transport documentation.
• Support efficient route planning and utilisation of drivers and fleet.
• Ensure transport activities meet safety, compliance and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirements.
