Job summary

Linfox’s Retail operation is seeking an AM Transport Allocator at our Redbank, QLD site. You’ll coordinate transport movements, plan delivery schedules and ensure timely metropolitan dispatch operations. The role follows a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster with 12-hour shifts from 2:00 AM to 2:00 PM.

You will engage with drivers and customers, maintain accurate records, and stay compliant with safety standards. A proactive, learn‑and‑grow mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport load planning is advantageous but not essential.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are required.
• Good knowledge of the Queensland metro area is preferred.

What does the job look like?

Our Retail operation is seeking a AM Transport Allocator to support our Redbank, QLD site. You'll play a key role in coordinating transport movements, planning delivery schedules, and ensuring timely metropolitan dispatch operations. The role follows a rotating four-days-on, four-days-off roster, working 12-hour shifts between 2:00AM and 2:00PM. Key areas:

• Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and internal stakeholders, providing clear instructions while fostering positive relationships
• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to run sheets, delivery schedules, and compliance requirements
• Ensure regular communication with customers, keeping them well-informed about their scheduled deliveries or any changes that may impact them
• Participating and committing to Safety Standards and COR requirements at all times

We’re seeking a motivated self-starter who’s eager to learn and grow. Bring a positive attitude and strong work ethic, and we’ll provide the training and support you need to thrive. You can demonstrate:

• Experience in transport load planning, driver or fleet allocation is highly regarded, but not essential - a positive attitude and willingness to learn are key
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills - experience with TMS is highly regarded
• Strong geographical knowledge of QLD metro and surrounding areas
• Demonstrated capability to perform effectively under pressure, remaining organised and highly efficient
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
