Transfer Station Gatehouse Officer

$47 per hour + Super

Short-Term Contract until 31 January 2027

Are you a customer-focused administrator with strong cash handling skills and experience working in waste management, logistics, transfer stations, weighbridges or similar operational environments?

We are seeking a Transfer Station Gatehouse Officer to support the day-to‑day operations of a busy recycling and resource recovery facility in Skye. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team in a role that combines customer service, administration, compliance and operational support.

About the Role

Working from the gatehouse, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of site entry and exit processes, accurately processing waste disposal transactions, and providing exceptional customer service to visitors, contractors and stakeholders.

This is a shift-based position that includes weekend and public holiday work (excluding Good Friday and Christmas Day).
