Job summary

Dubbo Regional Council’s Trangie branch is seeking a Part-Time Library Assistant to support our community. This 12-hour-per-week role focuses on helping library members access services and resources with a friendly, customer-focused approach.

You will assist with borrowing, paperwork, and organising materials while using library facilities and PC applications. Join a supportive team that makes a real community impact.

Qualifications

• Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Demonstrated experience in providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong computer literacy and understanding of common software packages.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• Current First Aid certificate.

Responsibilities

• Supporting customers in the use of library facilities, resources and PC applications.
• Delivering excellent face to face customer service to all library users.
• Issuing and return library materials.
• Organising library resources
• Efficient operation library equipment.
• Responding to borrowers' enquiries and provide information services.
