Job summary

Recruitment Hive is seeking a Training Specialist for a Federal Government agency to deliver engaging instructor-led training to internal staff and stakeholders, in both virtual and face-to-face formats.

You will work with subject matter experts to translate policy and system changes into clear learning sessions, manage scheduling and venues, and foster an inclusive environment that encourages participation and knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to design and deliver training programs.
• Experience with policy, regulatory, or system changes communication.
• Experience delivering training products to high‑profile audiences.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions, workshops, briefings and information sessions to internal staff and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate both virtual and face-to-face learning activities, adapting delivery approaches to meet audience needs and operational requirements.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, discussion, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand policy, regulatory, operational and system changes and accurately communicate these concepts during training delivery.
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, learner communications, attendance management, venue or virtual platform readiness, and training support activities.

Our client, an independent Federal Government agency that maintains an impartial and independent electoral system for eligible voters through active electoral roll management, are looking for a Training Specialist

Duties of theTraining Specialist:

• Deliver engaging instructor-led training sessions, workshops, briefings and information sessions to internal staff and other stakeholders.
• Facilitate both virtual and face-to-face learning activities, adapting delivery approaches to meet audience needs and operational requirements.
• Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that encourages participation, discussion, collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Work closely with subject matter experts to understand policy, regulatory, operational and system changes and accurately communicate these concepts during training delivery.
• Coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, learner communications, attendance management, venue or virtual platform readiness, and training support activities.

Skills and Experience Required

• Strong presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience delivering learning in both virtual and face-to-face environments.
• Ability to explain complex policy, legislative, business process or system information to diverse audiences.
• Tertiary qualifications in Training and Workplace Assessment or a related field.
• Prior experience in delivering training products to high profile audiences that have the potential to heavily scrutinise subject matter.
