Job summary

Macmahon is seeking a proactive Graduate and Vacation Programs Coordinator at our Perth head office. You’ll partner with leaders across Operations and Recruitment to deliver exceptional participant experiences and develop future mining professionals.

You'll manage program administration, reporting, and onboarding, while building strong stakeholder relationships and ensuring program compliance. The role offers a structured early career pathway within a leading mining and civil contractor.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating programs or projects with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication abilities.
• Excellent planning, organisation and prioritisation skills.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to improve processes and outcomes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 tools (SharePoint, Lists, Power Automate).
• Experience building workflows, forms and reporting solutions.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Graduate and Vacation Programs.
• Support attraction, assessment and onboarding of participants.
• Partner with Operational leaders on workforce planning and development opportunities.
• Develop reporting, communications and program documentation.
• Analyse program performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support training compliance, funding and reporting requirements.
• Build strong relationships across Operations, Recruitment, Mobilisation and Training.

About the Role

Reporting to the Surface Mining Training Superintendent, you'll coordinate Macmahon's Graduate and Vacation Programs, partnering with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional participant experiences and support the development of future mining professionals.

• Roster: 5:2/Monday to Friday
