Job summary

Ignite is seeking a Training Lead to design and deliver programs that prepare operational and technical teams for commissioning and operation of a federal nuclear medicine facility. You will work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to build workforce capability in a highly regulated environment.

The role is based in Southern Sydney with hybrid work (1 day WFH), on-site parking and cafeteria. You will develop curricula, maintain training records in the LMS, oversee governance, and drive

Qualifications

• Must have experience leading training or workforce capability programs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across diverse teams.
• Experience developing training materials and competency frameworks.
• Knowledge of LMS and training records management.
• Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
• Experience in regulated engineering/manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training plans, curricula and learning materials.
• Coordinate subject matter experts to reflect production and maintenance processes.
• Plan and schedule training for operations, engineering, maintenance and support.
• Manage training governance, reviews, approvals and stakeholder engagement.
• Ensure training records live in the LMS.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead transition of training systems into BAU operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain training plans, documentation, curricula, and learning materials.


• Coordinate and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop and update training plans, documentation and materials that accurately reflect production and maintenance processes for the initial training project personnel and enabling functions.


• Plan and schedule training activities for operations, engineering, maintenance, and support teams


• Manage training governance, reviews, approvals, and stakeholder engagement


• Ensure training records and curricula are maintained within companies Learning Management System


• Evaluate training effectiveness and implement continuous improvement initiatives.


• Lead the transition and handover of training systems, records, and materials into business-as-usual operation

About You

To be successful, you will bring:

• Demonstrated experience leading training, learning, or workforce capability programs.


• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse technical teams.


• Experience developing training materials, competency frameworks, and training governance processes.


• Knowledge of Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training record management.


• Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills.


• Experience within engineering, manufacturing, operational, utilities, pharmaceutical, defence, mining, or other regulated environments will be highly regarded.


• A proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused approach to training delivery and capability development.
