Job summary

MinStaff Survey is looking for a Training & Compliance Officer at our Toowoomba Head Office to support the corporate team. The role reports to the General Manager and Survey Manager, ensuring company processes are maintained and compliant.

You will handle onboarding, contractor management, fleet and equipment coordination, IT improvements, and HSEQ projects, with a 38-hour work week in Toowoomba.

Qualifications

• Experience in contractor management and onboarding processes.
• Ability to manage fleet and equipment allocation.
• Experience supporting IT improvements and automation.
• Familiarity with HSEQ reviews and improvement projects.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, SharePoint and AI integration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain client compliance through contractor portals.
• Oversee employee onboarding and subcontractor management.
• Oversee fleet management including VMS/IVMS.
• Coordinate equipment allocation and usage.
• Support IT improvements and automation initiatives.

MinStaff Survey is a consulting surveying company that was established in 1995 and has expanded to employ over 100 professional staff servicing mining, infrastructure and land development projects throughout Australia and overseas.

MinStaff Survey provides customised surveying solutions to commercial and residential projects specialising in cadastral surveying and town planning, engineering surveying, mine surveying, laser scanning, aerial surveying and bathymetric surveying.

Within our Toowoomba Head Office

there is an exciting opportunity for a Training & Compliance Officer to become part of our corporate team. The Training & Compliance Officer will report directly to both the General Manager and Survey Manager to manage and maintain a range of company processes in support of the business operation.

General duties and responsibilities of the position will include:

• Maintaining client compliance requirements through contractor management portals
• Manage the employee onboarding process (including offboarding) and subcontractor management
• Fleet management including VMS and IVMS
• Equipment allocation and management
• Assist with IT improvements and automations
• Assist with HSEQ reviews and improvement projects

The Training & Compliance Officer will be required to regularly liaise with and foster positive relationships with staff , suppliers and other stakeholders. The successful candidate will need to work well within a team, take ownership over multiple tasks and provide timely support to senior management.

This position is only being offered as a fulltime, permanent position working a 38 hour work week - based in Toowoomba.

Applicants highly capable with Microsoft Office Suite (in particular SharePoint and a working knowledge AI Integration) will be highly considered for this role.
