Zusammenfassung

Talison Lithium is recruiting a Training & Assessment professional to lead and continuously improve the site’s competency-based training system at Greenbushes Lithium Operation, with a focus on safety, effectiveness and learner engagement.

You will develop training packages, map competency frameworks and deliver both classroom and hands-on training to a diverse workforce, ensuring VOCs for mobile plant and High-Risk Work activities are completed to standard.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116, TAE40122 or higher) with WHS/Leadership & Management qualifications viewed favourably.
• Strong Trainer/Assessor experience within fixed plant operations.
• Confident in delivering both classroom and hands-on practical training that is clear and impactful.
• Knowledge of WHS legislation including WHS Act 2020 and WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022.
• Exceptional communication skills with strong written, verbal and interpersonal abilities.
• Technically proficient with Microsoft Office and able to develop, map and validate training materials.
• Experience in Job Hazard Analysis, Critical Risk Management and Isolation/Permit to Work systems.
• Current C Class Driver’s Licence; nationally recognised competencies for Front End Loader, Skid Steer Loader, Telehandler and Overhead/Gantry Crane; High Risk Work Licences including Forklift (LF) and Elevated Work Platform (WP); additional licences (Rigging RB/RI, Dogging DG, Non-Slewing Crane CN) desirable.

Aufgaben

• Supporting workers to follow structured training plans and schedules to meet operational benchmarks.
• Managing the site training matrix and ensuring all training and assessment records are accurately completed and submitted.
• Developing, maintaining and improving the training system, including standardised procedures, training packages and assessment tools.
• Delivering engaging group and one-on-one training sessions, both theory and practical.
• Assessing worker competency through knowledge-based and practical assessments, including VOC for mobile plant and high-risk work activities.
• Participating in Training Needs Analysis (TNA) processes and contributing to area inductions.
• Observing employees to ensure safety system compliance and championing continuous improvement in training quality.
