Job summary

U-Go Mobility seeks a Training Manager to lead the training, learning and workforce capability function across its multi-site operations. You will own the training framework, annual plan, competency standards and learning systems, including apprenticeships and external providers.

You will lead and develop the Driver Trainer Lead, ensure governance of pre-employment drivers and heavy vehicle licensing training, and maintain standards, tools and pathways for critical roles.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent required.
• Tertiary qualification in adult education, training, safety or related discipline preferred.
• Leadership experience in operational training or workforce capability in safety-regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of adult learning and competency-based training.

Responsibilities

• Lead and prioritise training aligned with operational plans and safety risks.
• Develop and implement annual training and capability plans and calendars.
• Coach and develop Driver Trainer Lead and set team priorities.
• Govern driver assessment processes, including pre-employment and licensing pathways.
• Manage relationships with RTOs, apprenticeships and external providers.
• Oversee training budgets and procurement within delegated authority.
• Design blended learning solutions including face-to-face and eLearning.
• Ensure compliance reporting and data quality across learning systems.
