Job summary

INIT is seeking an experienced Training Manager to lead the training strategy and delivery for NSW public transport initiatives. You will build the program's training function, develop the Training Management Plan, and assemble a Trainers team to deploy training through deployment and steady-state operations.

You will design comprehensive training programs and materials, lead a train-the-trainer model, and coordinate training across multiple disciplines, locations and partners, shaping learning

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale training programs across multiple stakeholder groups.
• Strong instructional design capability and ability to develop comprehensive learning suites.
• Proven experience designing and delivering train-the-trainer programs.
• Experience conducting training needs analyses and developing competency-based outcomes.
• Experience building and leading a training delivery team.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Own training strategy across the full program lifecycle from delivery to operations.
• Conduct training needs analyses across internal teams and NSW transport authorities.
• Build and lead a growing team of Trainers.
• Develop comprehensive training programs and materials including guides, eLearning, assessments.
• Lead train-the-trainer initiatives enabling partners to train their own teams.
• Coordinate training across disciplines, locations and rollout phases.
• Pilot training, gather feedback and improve content and delivery.
• Establish training environments and readiness reporting.
• Collaborate with global Training team to leverage existing materials.
• Partner with Change Management, Engineering and SME teams.
