Job summary

Drug and Alcohol Testing Institute (DATI) in Brisbane is seeking a casual Trainer & Assessor to deliver engaging online and occasional in-person training across Australia. You will assess participants, provide feedback, and handle administrative tasks with accuracy.

The role requires a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, 3+ years of VET delivery, strong organisational and communication skills, and willingness to travel nationally when needed.

Qualifications

• Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
• Minimum three years' experience delivering Vocational Education and Training.
• Relevant industry experience in health/occupational health or related field.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
• Confident delivering training via Zoom.
• Willingness to travel nationally when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training through live online Zoom classrooms.
• Occasionally deliver face-to-face training across Australia.
• Assess participants and provide constructive feedback.
• Complete training administration accurately and on time.
• Maintain participant and assessment records.
• Support course preparation, resources and equipment.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Support end-to-end program management.
