Job summary

Institute of Teacher Aide Courses in Brisbane is seeking an experienced early childhood educator to join our national team as a trainer and assessor. The role blends marking assessments, providing academic support online, and visiting students at childcare services.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of full-time (or equivalent) recent experience in Australian early childhood services, including substantial experience in long day care.
• Diploma of Early Childhood or equivalent, or higher.
• Hold or willingness to complete the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (a legal requirement for the role).
• Valid Working With Children Check.
• Professional English language skills for effective communication with diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Mark assessments and provide academic support to online students.
• Visit students during mandatory work placement at childcare services.
• Assist with development of learning resources and deliver weekly webinars.
• Monitor student progress and participate in professional development opportunities.
