Job summary

aEX Institute is seeking qualified and experienced trainers to deliver and assess stand-alone units of competencies in a face-to-face classroom environment. The ability to deliver high quality, compliant and engaging sessions is vital, while ensuring appropriate assessment systems are in place that allow each student to attain the relevant units of competency.

Deliver and assess vocational training qualifications in a face-to-face classroom environment, ensuring compliance, safety and engagement

Qualifications

• Clear communicator with demonstrated experience engaging learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to manage time and deliver sessions unsupervised.
• Moderate computer literacy including MS Office suite.

• Deliver FSK10119 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways
• Deliver FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways
• Deliver FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways
• Assess students against relevant units of competency
• Ensure appropriate assessment systems are in place
• Deliver high quality and compliant training sessions
• Engage all learner types and levels

About you

• Australian citizenship or permission to work in Australia
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122 (or equivalent)
• TAESS00026 Foundation Skills Integration Skill Set
• Industry workplace experience in alignment with the delivered courses
• Demonstrated experience delivering accredited vocational training
• Ability to engage all learner types and levels
• Ability to work unsupervised and good time management skills
• Clear communicator with experience working with people from disadvantaged backgrounds with mixed levels of education and learning
• Ability to balance flexibility with compliance in a unique environment without compromising training integrity or workplace safety protocols
• Moderate computer literacy including MS Office suite
• Current Driving Licence
• Criminal History Clearance
