Job summary

Springboard in Burwood, NSW is seeking a Trainer and Assessor to support SEE/AMEP students. You will engage learners using effective teaching techniques, conduct pre-training assessments and tailor training to meet contract requirements, while maintaining a student-centred approach.

The role requires current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education with TESOL or a degree plus TESOL qualification, and a commitment to inclusive education and improving learners' LLN skills.

Qualifications

• Current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus Bachelor with TESOL
• Or undergraduate degree with a post graduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent qualifications
• Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred

You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) and/ or the AMEP program.

Be part of making a difference in our students lives by improving their skills, knowledge and confidence through effective training and assessment

Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment

Havethe capacity and desire to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment at any given time

Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area

Qualifications:

Current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus Bachelor withTESOL

An undergraduate degree with a post graduate qualification inTESOLor equivalent qualifications or willingness to complete a post graduate qualification inTESOL

Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework preferred
