Launch your career in supply chain operations with this exciting 2-year traineeship! As a Trainee Supply Officer, you'll gain valuable hands‑on experience while completing a nationally recognised Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations through a combination of on‑the‑job learning and online study with TAFE.
Working alongside an experienced team, you'll develop practical skills in warehousing, inventory management and customer service, building a strong foundation for a future career in the industry.
In this role, you will:
Support the day‑to‑day operations of Council's supply store.
Gain practical experience in warehousing and stock management.
Assist customers with enquiries and service requests.
Receive, reconcile and issue stock using Council's inventory systems.
Contribute to the security and organisation of the store.
Complete traineeship training and development activities.
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, excellence and integrity.
Based at Council's Work Depot in Boolaroo, this position works a roster between 6:00am and 4:00pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required with notice.

To be successful, you will have:
Year 10 Record of School Achievement (RoSA) or equivalent, with satisfactory results in English and Mathematics.
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Strong customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic computer literacy and numeracy skills.
The ability to follow instructions and processes with a high level of attention to detail.
A commitment to completing a 24‑month traineeship.
A willingness to learn, develop new skills and take on feedback.
A strong focus on safety and a desire to contribute to a culture of excellence and integrity.
Candidates who have already completed a Certificate IV in Supply Chain Operations, Warehousing, a related qualification, or any higher‑level qualification may not be eligible to apply.
