This 2-year Civil Construction Apprenticeship is the perfect opportunity to kick-start your career while making a real difference in the Lake Macquarie community. As a Civil Construction Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced teams helping to build, maintain, and improve the roads, footpaths, cycleways, drainage systems, parks, and public spaces that our community uses every day. You'll develop practical skills, gain valuable industry experience, and complete a Certificate III in Civil Construction, with full support throughout your apprenticeship. You'll have the opportunity to work across different teams and projects, building a broad range of construction and infrastructure skills.
Through a combination of on-the-job training and formal study, you'll learn how to safely use tools, equipment, and machinery while building the skills needed for a successful career in the civil construction industry.

This position is based at Council's Works Depot and involves travel to sites across Lake Macquarie. Hours are 6:00am to 3:30pm, Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, with occasional weekend work required with notice.
